Pinscreen

I think that more than25 years ago I'we seen on the TV this type of "3D display" and I was fascinated by it's simplicity but in the same time the spectacular visual experience. Nowadays I'we seen again some images on the internet (https://pinterest.com/search/pins/?q=pinscreen&rs=typed&0=pinscreen%7Ctyped) and I hope someday I will have the patience to build at least a small one. To be prepared I made a modell 420 by 420 mm with 2209 pins. The origins are a little bit vague, at least for me because on wikipedia I found information that it was invented by Alexandre Alexeieff (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexandre_Alexeieff) but also on an other page Ward Fleming is mentioned as the person who have patented it.
