Needed a more reliable way to measure distances in the Pirates CSG by WizKids, so I made my onw based on a YouTube video tutorial I watched on how to play the game.
Recommend printing the pieces in their respective range colors (S is white, and L is red)
These pieces are designed to be used with 5mmx2mm hobby magnets so that they can be stored together and clip together for ease of play. Basically if your ship is executing a S+S+S maneuver, you can snap three S templates together and orient them however you want for the move you plan to make, and allows you to premeasure without the fear of disturbing the table.
The lines in the ends are where the actual distances start and end, so you measure from those lines to those lines. They were designed to have circles on the end solely for ease of use and fitting the magnets, and the lines intersect the magnet holes at the exact halfway point so that if you snap them together you are achieving the most accurate movements possible.
