PIT Type Fixture

A PIT type fixture is a specialized, heat-resistant metal structure, usually made of stainless steel, designed to hold, stack, or suspend components (gears, shafts, tools) within a vertical pit furnace during heat treatment processes like carburizing, hardening, or tempering. These fixtures, often including baskets, spiders, and bases, enable uniform heating and efficient loading/unloading of heavy, bulky parts.
