Pitot-Static Probe is a device that captures atmospheric pressure signals for delivery to static and dynamic pressure systems, as well as to various electrical sensors, flight information display systems, engine control units, and other aircraft systems (consumers). It serves as the primary component of the onboard air data system (ADS), enabling the calculation of indicated airspeed, calibrated airspeed, true airspeed, vertical speed, and barometric altitude on aircraft, helicopters, and other vehicles.
