This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/ePwn4AvY4bq
I am currently using 2" wide flat aluminum stock cut up into 3" pieces to hold two strands of Pixabulbs mounted in a Boscoyo pixabulb mounting strip. The angles are calculated for a 180' tree of 24 strands. My mega tree has 12 hooks on the topper for these clips. I use two of these to sandwich the two pixabulb strips together and secure with nuts & bolts. (Note: there is overlap of the strips at the top between these two clips.)
I am currently printing them and testing different materials. This is a work in progress. You could also use the design for a CNC if you have access to one to cut aluminum stock.
