Pixel 3a desk dock

I wanted a custom-made phone dock that keeps my phone in reach and keeps it charged when I'm at my desk. The dock fits a Google Pixel 3a with a Spigen Rugged Armor case, which has dimensions of 74.2 mm x 11.2 mm in the cradle. I had the following requirements:
1. all buttons and complete screen accessible when docked
2. doesn't muffle the sound from the phone speakers
3. automatically plug-in when I set the phone in the dock
4. no lateral stresses on the charge port or charge cable

Item 1 was met simply by shaping the case correctly. Item 2 required the design of tunnels with smart deflection angles to redirect sound from the bottom-firing phone speakers to front-facing openings. This worked out really well, actually increasing the volume of sound that you here compared to the phone simply sitting on the desk.

Item 3 required me to design a cord gripper with barbs that holds the stock charge cable firmly and doesn't move at all within the cradle. I designed the cable gr
