PLA v ABS

####My designs manage PLA motor mount heat shrink with a slightly oversized motor tube and self-centering sealing chamfers at the top and base. This technique enables fin can reuse for many flights except for the larger cluster designs.


####Fin cans left in a hot car or in the hot sun will sag but a hair dryer or heat gun will help you straighten them out again. Some filaments are more susceptible than others.

####Do not be scared away from using PLA. Give it a try. You can always print more.

####When you decide to try PETG, ABS, or something else, the fin can may last longer. Unless you land in a tree.
