Planetary Gear Fidget Spinner

This is my planetary gear spinner design. The planet gears ride between two rails on the sun and ring gears. These rails prevent the planet gears from falling out and help it spin smoothly. Keen observers may notice that the planetary gears are not equally spaced. This is done to reduce vibrations by having the planetary gears rotate out of phase with each other. The finger pads easily screw into the sides as shown in the video below. For the best results, ensure your printer is properly calibrated and that the walls of the gears are not fusing together.The gear will become smoother the more it is spun. Rough edges that may occur as a result of printing are worn down and smoothed as the gear is spun.
