Planetary Gears

This is a model of planetary gearing. It is intended as a toy/conversation piece, not for power transmission. To create the model, you will need to print 4x of the planet gears and 1x of the other parts. The sizes of the gears are tweaked a bit from the ideal values so that they fit together with loose tolerances. However, running a file between the teeth to clean out any extraneous plastic is a good idea. In addition to the printed parts, 12x #6 x 3/4" screws are used to hold the model together.
