Plastic Extruder

This is the model for a plastic extruder im working on. Its based on lymans extruder. It is going to be powered by a 1/2hp motor and a possibly 20-40watt heater ring. I decided to use a 1/2hp motor and gearbox 1 because it was lying around and 2 because the lead on the previous small 12v electric motor broke off and 3 because i was able to recycle parts from junked things around the house. I'll post the pic of it when I'm done assembling it. The motor is spec'ed at 1/2hp 1640rpm 4.5amps the gearbox is 11:1 1hp 154rpm
