This project covers the complete workflow of plastic injection mold development, starting from plastic part design and static structural analysis to Moldflow simulation for fill time, end-fill temperature, volumetric shrinkage, flow front temperature, inlet pressure vs time, maximum flow rate, clamp force, and part mass. A full mold assembly was modeled including top plate, core plate, cavity plate, back plate, spacer, bottom plate, guide rods, and locating ring. Injection pressure was calculated for different machine tonnages and comparative graphs were plotted to support proper machine selection and mold performance evaluation.
