Platform Bird Feeder 2

This is a platform feeder that prints as separate parts and requires assembly. This allows you to use your favorite filament colors to create a personalized look to match the aesthetic of your outdoor space. All parts can be replaced as needed in case of damage. However, the feeder is very sturdy and should last quite a while outdoors. This could also be a good project to build with kids, especially a small group so that could mix and match colors. The hardware that I used was M4x35mm Stainless Steel Truss Head Screws and M4 Lifting Eye Nuts from Amazon. The M4 screws will go in snugly and this will make the frame rigid once all four are inserted. Assembly:1. Insert the “Bottom” piece into the two side pieces so that the slots on pieces all align. 2. Slide the screen piece into the slots on the pieces that you just assembled. The raised cross brace on the screed should face down. 3. Insert the top piece into the side pieces and align the slot4.
