Platypus Skull

This model is based on CT scan data provided by the DigiMorph project at The University of Texas at Austin:Obdurodon dicksoni — https://www.digimorph.org/specimens/Obdurodon_dicksoni/I cleaned the mesh using Meshmixer, split it into two printable halves, and optimized it for ASA printing on the Bambu Lab X1C with tree supports. This version includes a print-tested .3mf file and is ready to go with minimal cleanup.Original scan © DigiMorph / UT Austin. Used for non-commercial, educational remixing.More Information: The specimen was scanned by Richard Ketcham on 12-13 November 1998 along the coronal axis for a total of 612 512x512 pixel slices. Each slice is 0.26 mm thick, with an interslice spacing of 0.22 mm (for a slice overlap of 0.04 mm) and a field of reconstruction of 53 mm.This is a tricky print, and as you can see in my sliced file, there was minor bit of support structure flailing about, but the model printed fine.
