I´ve seen some fancy Plek holders in this style, but they where not as Metall as I wanted. Just little combos of various name brands.
Since I´m a metall guitar player I waned to make a more Metall version of it, that is closer to my real stack.
In the thumbnail, the details on the amp model look pretty rough, but when its printed, it will look fine, since the small size.
Also the handles appear round on the print, not squared, don´t worry :)
What you need:
- Super glue
- Maybe scalpel and creme brulee burner for cleaning
- A bit of left over mesh from the mosquito window things for the speaker
- Maybe a bit color for details
- Magnets for the drawer (2x 2x1mm round, 1x 5x1mm round)
In the slicer, I set fuzzy skin (depth 0.2, distance 0.2) to the outer sides of the speaker and amp, for a more realistic look, which really makes the difference(!).
I left the amp panel with the buttons without fuzzy, but the flat area above it (above the crack) with fuzzy.
I also included the sliced file
