Plexiglass protection for pharmacies

Pharmacies are facing major challenges for keeping their staff safe during this COVID-19 crisis. Placing plexiglass shields in between patients and staff could add an extra layer of protection, and could prevent for example that patients can directly sneeze or cough on medical staff.

This design is intended for educational purposes, and it is NOT approved by any health organisation. The main photo shows what such a screen could look like in a pharmacy but it is not what I designed. The second photo is a prototype of what I designed with 3d printed connectors. The actual screen of course needs to be in transparent plexiglass.
