Plug Cover M8 Threads

Replacement cover for plugs with M8 threads. These plugs are common for fixing or changing power and headphone plugs. If used, the plug slides onto the cable first (small side facing the wire ends). Slide on the cover (threads towards the wire ends), then solder on the plug. Now screw the cover onto the plug. If installed, slide the plug into the cover and press firmly (this will likely be a tight fit). Used to fix the pictured power connector on a ZX81 that had been cut down, exposing the solder points: Much better now with the new cover:
