Plum Picker

I designed this so plums can be picked from the higher branches that are out of reach. I have attached this to a length of bamboo. There are 2 holes opposite in the socket to enable the attachment of a securing pin or screw. If using bamboo it is best to drill a hole because bamboo is very hard and will definitely split otherwise. It was made from PLA but PETG or ABS would be equally suitable. The design needs no support and hence no time or material are wasted. This is very effective at removing ripe plums but will also bring down others too. There needs to be a spotter to see where they drop.
