Plumbing Air-Gap Fitting

This fitting provides an air gap between water-fixture discharges and plumbing drains. Water softeners, and some condensate pumps require an air gap where their discharge hoses drain into the house drain plumbing and this fitting does that. This device has two, ½” NPT threads on the top to allow the installation of threaded barbed fittings to attach the discharge hoses and provides just over 1” of air gap. The air-gap fitting will fit inside a 1.5” coupling, or 2” pvc pipe. I use a small screw through the pipe to hold the fitting in pace. Printed with no supports with the top of the fitting down (NPT threaded ports down).
