Pocket Hive

This is my ultra-portable travel design for hive+expansions. It's 100% printed, fits into a pocket, and can withstand a drop straight onto the hinge from standing height without popping open!

Sizes: I originally designed these to deal with a bit of printing bulge so if your prints come out a little big go with the 70 mm case and the 2.1 mm pieces, but if you have a finely tuned machine go with 2.4 mm pieces and the 70 mm case. If you're not sure print the pieces first, stack all 28 together and measure.

You can print the case and cap as one piece + supports touching model to save some filament, or print it in 2 pieces with supports. Once it's printed, clean up the hinges and insert the pin and you're ready to go!

Swapping out the material mid print for the case gives a pleasing aesthetic :)
