DIY...In Space! Only a bit bigger! This is a PockeCube micro satellite frame for classroom or desktop use. The unit is a double sized 2p design (50mm x 100mm x 50mm). With this framework, you can build your own micro-satellite using a variety of ultra small logic systems such as Raspberry Pi Zero, Edison or Tinyduino.
The bundle includes a top plate, frame, base plate with mounting holes, and a mounting plate for a Raspberry Pi Zero. A full sized blank mounting plate and an extended (2/3 size) plate have been added as well for your own electronic designs. Additionally, the 2p PocketCube can also use the 1p plates (blank, Edison and Tinyduino) found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2255980.
Mounting the plates is done with M2 hardware. Two kits from Sparkfun (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13187) should provide the basics. Hardware stores may have M2 components in stock or they may be able to order them for you. The Raspberry Pi Zero uses M2.5 mounting components instead
