Pokemon Chess Set

This Pokemon Chess set was inspired by sch00f - "Pokemon Chess Set" https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2369887
But I've made it my own, I've added a case and chess board to each of the pieces which I have made simple bases for. Bases for pieces that aren't pawns have been given a special base which indicate, somewhat simplistically what their moves are.
The board and case are designed to be laser cut, with 3D printed corner pieces. I glued the clear perspex panels to the 3D printed corner pieces.
To make the board I recommend cutting the file "chessboard.dxf" twice, once on a black piece of acrylic, and once again on a white piece of acrylic. This will give you 2 halves of a chess board in each colour. You break each half apart, take one black and one white half and then slot those together. perhaps make 2 sets and give one to a friend?
I printed the pieces using a resin 3D printer - sparkmaker (some are regular definition and they turned out ok, but the best ones came out on the HD
