I've upped the size of the acrylic panel to 2.5mm for a better look, but anywhere between 2-2.5mm should work fine. Acrylic is cut to 170x200mm for a great fit in the front slot. You can cut acrylic sheets yourself, or purchase some pre-cut sheets from various shops. Magnets used are 8x2mm and easily placed into the top of the body and lid.
