Pole Insulator Mounting Post

Threaded mounting post for a ceramic or glass telephone pole insulator. A deep recessed screw hole allows a 2" drywall screw to pass through in order to mount this to a wall or beam, and any standard 1" pole insulator will then screw on to the post. Depending on your application, it may be necessary to print this with a stronger material like ABS or PETG, as I snapped one made from PLA under lateral load. That revision was also taller, though, so there was greater torque about the mounting screw.
