This is a small OpenSCAD Library, which can generate quite some archimedic solids.
Missing ones can easily be extended.
For each polyeder, there are quite some "finish" options available. This changes the overall look. This Library literally creates polyeders by putting polygons together at a certain angle hierarchically. The information comes from a list with following entry
[ parend id, parent polygon side, new id, new cornernum, bend angle ]
An additional function 'angle_3poly' is provided to calculate any angle needed between polygons where 3 of them meet in a corner.
How to use ?
----------------
* Download the polyeder.scad file
* fill in facemode to select which face they shall have
* fill in r_edge to define the edge cylidner radius
* fill in r_corner to define the corner sphere radius
* in the bottom uncomment one of the several polyeders available
* then Press "F5" to render
How to proceed from here ?
------------
* place the polyeders in your own objec
