Polymer Clay Cane Cutting Guide

I made this cutting guide to cut my polymer clay canes with. It will cut canes up to 3/4" in just about any shape. Just lay in the appropriate guide slot adjusting the cane to the thickness you want hanging over the edge. Use a long razor cutter to slice the cane. It's that easy.

Print this in a higher resolution like 0.10 to get the sides as smooth as possible. It will take a bit longer but the results are well worth it. The display sample I printed at 0.20 and it is a bit rough on the sides. If you print the guide with the arches downward and the square slots on top you won't need any supports to print this. Otherwise you will need supports.

I used PLA to print this but ABS and nylon may be even better choices. Print this guide inwhite or a light color for best contrast when cutting canes.
