PolyPad

The PolyPad is my rendition of a well known tabletop tripod used by many photographers. I was not looking for a to use it with my camera, it is stable enough however, but rather for use with lighting, holding backdrops and other various items while I continue on the path of learning macro photography. It has seven threaded holes,1/4 x 20 and three 3/8 x 16. The threads are very tight and could be cleaned up with a tap. I used class 3b threads when modeling this because I did not want any slop, but they are extremely tight. There are also 3 non-threaded holes if you would want to secure it to a wall or other item. It can be strapped to a tree or pole using the “strap arms” and a rachet strap.
