With his other massive hand, he wildly sweeps a freshly uprooted, jagged tree trunk through the darkness, desperate to crush the Ithacan king who stole his sight. Hanging from his thick, tightly knotted waist sash is the overturned amphora—a bitter, beautifully sculpted reminder of the intoxicating gift that led to his epic downfall. This is a moment of raw, mythic emotion frozen in filament, bringing the echoes of Homer's verses roaring into the physical world.
