Pool Enclosure Shelf Brackets

I created these brackets because I wanted to utilize my screen enclosure frame in my garden. Both brackets have a 2" x 2" opening that should fit around standard pool enclosure horizontal cross members. One bracket allows you to have a board sit on top of the horizontal beam of the pool enclosure and attach under the board with 2 deck screws. The second was made to utilize old pallet wood that is about .75" thick. The bracket clamps on top and bottom of a horizontal beam with 2 screws screwed up from the bottom into the pallet wood. Let me know what you think. I'd love to know how you would improve this design.
