Pool Return Nozzle

This custom nozzle allows for wider range of adjustment for the return jet on pools. It replaces the 1-5/8" diameter 'eye' that can swivel to direct the return water. The standard part was OK, but I wanted to have a little more adjustment so this version allows for up to 15deg. sharper return angle. I now have a good current in my pool aiding in debris collection by the skimmer. As an added bonus, I noticed a 1psi drop in pressure at my pump even though my original nozzle has the same opening diameter as this new one. The difference is probably due to the smoother transition designed in the nozzle reduces some of the turbulences.

Since this part is constantly outside exposed to chlorine and sunlight, I printed it in TPU and used 30% gyroid infill. This produced a soft, yet stable nozzle. I have had it installed in my pool for a couple of months now with no noticeable degradation to this part.

This part could probably work with PETG and ABS, but I expect PLA and Nylon would be
