Poor mans limit switch

Workable limit switch. Acts as a simple button so you may want to add a simple pull up/down resistor, just take the positive/negative wires and wrap them around the legs, perpendicular to each other and your done! 2mm screw is used to mount the switch, or some glue.

NOTE: The legs are only 1mm thick, so attempting to solder or using a glue gun around it will soften them quickly, but it only takes a couple of minutes to print one, so you could always print more :-)
