The Pop-Eyed Tomato is here! 🍅 In the story behind Potato, I shared that Patopato comes from Potato + Tomato. Later, I found out that “pato” means duck in Spanish. Funny enough, my childhood nickname was also “little duck.” 🦆 Actually, I came up with the name Patopato when I was in high school. Not in a very romantic way though — I suddenly thought of it one day while sitting on the toilet. 🚽😂 But from that day on, the name Patopato stayed with me. I always thought that maybe one day, I would use this name to do something. Years later, I started designing 3D printed toys. When I saw people printing my designs and sharing them with their kids, family, friends, and even in their little shops, I slowly felt: This is it. Patopato should become the name of these little moments of joy. I have always loved bringing a little happiness to the people around me. And if you also love sharing joy with others, I hope Patopato can help you send that little joy even further. So this Tomato is not just another friend from the Pop-Eyed Plant series.
