Portable AC Window Slide Box

Replacement window kit for portable AC window vents. Specifically, I designed this to replace portions of the plastic window kit that came with the Whynter ARC-122DHP. The original included pieces did not fit most of my standard windows and did not want to stay in. Though designed with the Whynter unit in mind, it may also work with other brands.

This series of sliding/interlocking rectangular boxes (or wings) allows you to make an exact fit for your window. Additionally, you can insert an insulation foam board in the hollow cavity to reduce outside noise and help keep hot or cold air out of your room. This design does not replace the actual portion you connect the vent hoses to; rather, you insert that section into a set of "wings."
