Portable Headphone Stand

This object is a portable, 3-piece, desktop headphone stand. In a virtual learning environment, usable desk space is sometimes hard to come by. This headphone stand, compatible with most headphones, will increase the amount of usable desk space by placing the headphones in a less space-consuming way. This stand will also help to prolong the lifespan of any headphone model by simply lowering the amount of wear it incurs when placed flat on a surface.

When first creating the stand, issues with 3d-printablility (the odd shape of the stand itself) forced creative solutions to be made. Having it consist of three separate parts solves this. A second iteration of this stand might include a more material-efficient shape and form. This would namely come in a hollowing out of the whole frame. 3d printing as a tool obviously would allow changes to the structure and design of the stand to be more easily made.
