None of the parts need supports. Note, though, that the latch piece has 4 built-in supports that break-away easily. Also, the right side piece has a very thin support strip underneath the latching ridge at the edge that also peels away easily.AssemblySlide the phone cover onto the dovetail rails on the right side piece. It should hold in place by itself, but if not, you can always use
