This is a replacement "Zero Clearance" insert plate to replace the obsolete part #894567.The slot is 1/8" wide and exactly centered so you shouldn't need to trim much on the first pass. If I had left the slot out, I would cut into infill. I'm sure there are ways around that, but it seemed much easier to just put the slot in.The piece is split into a top and bottom half to allow printing on a 220x220mm bed. The lap joint overlap is held in place with the center bolts. I added just a bit of gap between the two lap joints since I wanted to print both pieces such that the outward facing side was printed on the bed first. That meant I had to print with some supports on one of the pieces and a small gap reduced sanding.I printed this with 30% adaptive infill and PLA+ filament. PETG may be a better choice, but I didn't have any on-hand in dark red and the PLA+ seems to be working very well. The bolt hole is sized to be pretty tight. You may want to use a drill to give a bit more clearance if the plate doesn't line up perfectly with your saw.
