Inspired by the work's in Brian Sum's AFTRMRKT, I just wanted to design an articulatable robotic hand to help grow my CAD skills. Not in love with the final result - but I learned alot.
Feel free to use however you like. I printed the soft finger/palm pads in a translucent TPU, and the rest in cheap PLA. It uses ~26x 10mm m3 screws and ~4 6mm m3 screws. You could certainly design it to use less, or perhaps none - but part of the design goal here was a complex, hardware-filled texture.
Printed parts list:
Recommended TPU or other flexible material:
8x of tpu cap
4x of distal pad
4x of inter pad
1x palm soft
1x palm knuckle
(Note that the tpu caps are the only thing that 'must' be TPU. These other parts make sense, mechanically, to be tpu - but ultimately it is up to personal taste).
Recommended PLA or other rigid material:
14x of double hinge
4x of nail
4x of distal
4x of inter
4x of joint post
2x of proximal
1x of everything else
(Note the proximal flipped for the outside finger)
