Outdoor Lamp Outlet Cover – Replacement Part The rubber flip‑up covers on my lamp posts were long past their prime, but the posts themselves never had outlets behind them. Since a functional hinged cover wasn’t needed, I designed a clean static replacement that visually finishes the fixture and protects the opening from weather. This part matches the original footprint and screw spacing, sits flush to the post, and gives the lamp a more intentional modern look. The before and after photos show how much cleaner the post appears once the deteriorated flap is gone. Recommended Material: ASA ASA is ideal for outdoor hardware thanks to its UV stability, heat resistance, and long‑term durability. It maintains color and strength far better than PLA or PETG in sun‑exposed installations.
