Hi everyone,
I often need to access my PC remotely, but I don’t like leaving it on all the time. So, I came up with a way to power it on remotely.
Since I couldn’t find much ready-made online, I decided to design something myself.
Here’s what I used:
• Shelly 1 Mini
• External Start Computer Switch On/Off Button from Aliexpress
• IEC-320 C14 socket
• An Y splitter for IEC320
• M3-10mm screws
• Brass inserts for M3 screws
I spent a couple of hours on the design, and what you see is the final result.
It works perfectly and is really easy to put together.
Hope it might be useful to someone!
Cheers!
PS1: I haven’t added remote monitoring via the Shelly to check if the PC is already on — I simply don’t need it.
PS2: My case is a Corsair 4000D, not sure if this setup will work with other cases.
