Hello Everyone! The CAD files for my Precision CNC machine are finally finished. This machine has a theoretical precision of around 0.001 millimeters for under $300, but I can't really give a precise number until the machine is done and tested. For more detailed information and build instructions, visit https://kavinprakash.org/the-ezpz-cnc. For anybody looking to build a cheap, precise CNC I would definitely recommend using these designs. Also, these schematics do not feature a holder for a CNC spindle head, as the Z axis motion block only features a flat head where the spindle would attach to. This is because this machine would work with any spindle as long as it isn't too powerful, and the user is left to design their own holder that is compatible with the spindle that they have. Also, the Z axis lead screw and the two linear motion rods on either side are missing due to solidworks issues, but the for anyone interested they should all be 100 millimeters long and 8 millimeters thick. Also, for the x axis carriage on the bottom, a spoilboard must be bolted on top of it for proper use, of which I recommend using wooden MDF board. This is because the spoilboard acts as a sacrificial cnc bed, which can be exchanged after being damaged too much for use by the CNC machine. the carriage alone is not big enough to serve as the entire cutting bed.
