Recommended Material: PETG or ABS for Maximum Accuracy Since this caliper relies on very tight tolerances, it is strongly recommended to use: PETG – More flexible than PLA, smooth gliding, warp-resistant. ABS – Higher temperature resistance and excellent dimensional stability for fine applications. PLA – Only partially suitable; can deform or wear quickly under friction. Design Features 🧩 No Glue Required – But Optional: The caliper is designed for tool-free assembly. However, a small amount of adhesive can be used at certain joints for extra durability. ⚙️ Smooth Motion: The sliding unit runs along precisely guided rails. For best performance: Lightly lubricate moving parts with silicone grease or thread lubricant. This reduces friction and greatly improves longevity. 🔍 Fine Graduations: The embossed or engraved vernier scale allows accurate readings—ideal for measuring smaller parts or 3D-printed components.
