I had a pivot pin break on a Mastercraft ratchet set. I built upon a latch model from “Johnny Electronic” which appeared to roughly suit the lower half of my latch. I scaled and beefed up that model to match my original latch upper and then modelled out my lower half so that it could be printed as a single part with a moving hinge, allowing for better engagement of the pivot pin instead of having a stubby enough pin to snap into place. Boost Me I'm a beginner at 3D printing and have been using a mix of Bambu Studio and Tinkercad along with a lot of trial and error time to get to a final product. I'd be greatful for Boost along the way if anyone finds any usefulness in my efforts. This latch has a pivoting hinge which is now “printed in place” with enough clearance to allow free movement and fits the case snuggly.
