PrintDry Filament Spool Extender

I cannot fit MakerBot filament reels (1kg size) in the normal orientation in the PrintDry Pro 3 dryers as the diameter is too big. However, they do fit at a 90 degree turn and can fit two side-by-side (pictures show the orientation and setup).

You will need to add at least one layer (a total of 3 layers on top of the base) to raise the height of the filament spool so they do not contact the bottom of the dryer. I have 4 layers in the pictures above but that is for my own setup.

Print settings:

Printed on Bambu Labs X1 Carbon on 0.24mm Draft settings (normal supports on) in ABS

Adding an extra wall and 50% infill works like a charm without having to run 100% infill.
