cup stand

The cup stand design was created as a joke and a desire to create something more elegant than a piece of paper with a landing pad drawn on it.This is a typical cup holder that imitates a helicopter landing pad.PRINTING:I recommend enabling the supports (standard ones – not the tree) – it might take a bit more filament, but it printed nicely, and there was no problem with removing them. Since my printer doesn't have a multicolor module (K1C – I know you can upgrade, but I don't see the need for it at the moment), I also need to print two additional elements (a circle and the letter "H"), which should be pressed into the base – no gluing required. Of course, these elements can be omitted and the recesses left, but I figured it would get dirty quickly or there would be a risk of the cup catching on the recess or causing the cup to become unstable. From the very beginning, the project assumed that it would be a helicopter landing pad, so I designed it that way from the start. During printing, I added a pause to separate the underlying grids using a different filament color – I think it turned out nice :)The photos also show an old-style dispenser – made of paper. This is where I pour milk into my coffee – so the filling element was essential for maintaining a humorous cohesion.The raised edges are also a nice addition to protect the desk from spills of coffee – or any other beverage.Best regards, and happy printing.
