A 3D printed speaker enclosure designed with the idea that sound doesn’t have to live in a "box". This build uses an fluid outer shell and a gyroid lattice interior to combine structural bracing with internal wave diffusion, helping reduce the usual compromises of traditional flat-panel speaker cabinets. Printed in PLA and finished in dual colors with a multi-material setup (though it works the same with single material setups). This project is equal parts speaker enclosure and functional sculpture. Built for my YouTube channel, and made to show what’s possible when you design for sound instead of designing for manufacturing convenience. The link below will take you to the video where you can see how and why I built it this way as well as hear it in action.
