Printer EnclosureI have designed this enclosure using some cheap and readily available 8mm dowel and 3mm MDF to create and enclosure that you can DIY construct, is cost effective and upgradeable.Design uses the 8mm Dowel as the pin for each of the hinges.It uses joiners and the MDF to create the strength.This enclosure is not fully airtight, but designed to reduce draft and humidity when printing. There are a few easy ways to fully enclose with mylar film and covering gaps, please ensure if doing this you are monitoring temperature and read up on effects to the PCB boards.Optional/future upgrades – acrylic sides instead of MDF, exhaust fan, space heater, integrated lightingI have made my Enclosure size 550mmx600mx600mm to fit my Ender 3 s1 and container on top for extra filament room and usage visibility during printing.Each connector has 3mm screw holes for extra attachment, on the dowel supports but I have not used except for the base, also able to glue most parts if easier.For the front door cut-outs to reduce cost I have used thin Perspex from poster frames.
