Proctor-Silex coffee machine replacement switch bracket

I replaced the switch on my [cheapo Proctor-Silex 12-cup coffee machine](https://www.walmart.com/ip/Proctor-Silex-12-Cup-CounterTop-Coffee-Brewer-Model-43501Y/16629639) (the old switch kept on getting corroded) and needed a bracket to hold the new switch to the original plastic assembly posts that the screws fasten into (annoyingly, "spanner slotted" security screws). There was a curve and angles and hard-to-measure distances that made getting this the right fit pretty tricky so I decided to share.

If you do this repair, you can pull out the neon indicator bulb and 1Mohm resistor from the old switch to reuse it on your new switch (there's a hole in this bracket next to the main switch hole for the bulb). You wire the switch to make/break the hot line to the heating element, and the neon bulb and resistor run in series between the switched-power and the neutral. Shrinkwrap tubing the connections, or using a switch that can reuse the spade connectors, is highly recommended. You'll pro
