The model itself is just an example of what the students will be able to make. I chose to design a pen that is able of reusing old or broken pens' refills to work, and therefore helps in not throwing away something that's still useful. It's composed of four printable parts, that will probably need a raft to better stick to the building platform. The pen body is threaded on the inside, so all the other pieces can screw onto it. The body also has a clip to attach the pen to notebooks and papers and the project name engraved on it. The "Pen inside" part is what makes the pen able to use different sized refills. It gets screwed all the way into the pen (with the help of a screwdriver) and has a hole in which the back side of the refill is placed. This part will essentially "resize" the inside of the pen to accommodate all the cartridges so that they will be firmly secured. The cap on the back is purely aesthetic.
