This is a projective kaleidoscope I designed for a science project.
I took the classic kaleidoscope and modified it so that it projects the pattern onto a surface rather than looking through it.
To assemble you cut three cuttable mirrors, the mirrors of the right size should be able to slot into place. Then you fit the clour barrel through the cartridge. The colour barrel is where your items are placed to produce a pattern(NOTE: opaque objects like beads and clips do not work.) To seal the items inside the colour barrel I used tape, but more advanced approaches are acceptable.
For the lens I used a hexagonal convex lens with the side lenth of 16mm and a height of 8mm.
I will probably modify it further.
