This is parts for a Right Angle 10:1 Worm Gear Reduction gearbox. The gearbox is designed to mount to a T-Track and take a Nema23 Motor with a D shaft.
I had a lot of trouble printing the worm gear as one piece, so I slice the main worm gear down the middle with my printer software and lay it on its side with gear teeth up. I then gorilla glued it together and snapped on the motor coupling and the manual adjust nut with a clamp to keep everything aligned and give better hold than just the glue.
I use silicon grease to lubricate the gears, and it is very quiet. I use 3 22mm lipped roller blade bearings to keep everything aligned and rotating smoothly.
Update - New gearbox. As I was testing this under a load, I realized that the worm gear would pull off of the motor shaft under torque. The new gearbox has 3 additional holes around the end of the worm gear bearing. These are for PEM nuts that fit M3 screws. I then screw some washers over the bearing lip to prevent pul
