My Proscend P180T units were overheating with no cooling as the switch was passive, and not even kept in air conditioning. I had added some adhesive heatsinks bought from Jaycar which help a little, but they were still unstable.
This is the heatsink I used. If adding it to the device with the hat, I suggest positioning the hat on the module already inserted into the switch and THEN attach the heatsinks

This "hat" is designed to sit over the unit, and the fan will suck air up through the heatsinks and out the top of the hat. It's designed for 12V 25mm x 6mm fans and i added a DC jack to power the fans from a plug pack.
The model does has a design flaw in that the fan will blow down, but if you mirror the model, the hole switches to the other side and you can flip the fan to correctly blow up.
The units are no longer boiling hot, and indeed are surprisingly a lot cooler for such a small fan.
Hopefully this he
